Adding people to your shop

A worker who photographs receipts, a manager who sees costs, another owner for the future — it all happens in one place, in two taps.

Three roles, three levels of trust

You choose what each person can see. Nobody sees your margins except an owner.

Worker — the simplest

Photographs receipts. Sees no money at all. Perfect for a clerk or a student who helps enter purchases without seeing a price.

Manager — your trusted person

Photographs receipts, sees costs, can change sell prices. Does not see margins. Ideal for whoever handles the ordering.

Owner — full view

Sees everything: costs, prices, margins, expenses. Can add and remove people and change roles. Your role — and a successor’s.

Adding a person, in two taps

It all happens on one screen in the app — Workers. Same method for a worker, a manager or an owner.

Invite them with their email

On the Workers screen, tap Add and enter their email. Choose Worker or Manager. They get a link, sign in on their own phone.

Done

The person shows up in the list. Change their role any time — bump a worker up to manager — by tapping next to their name.

Naming another owner

A partner, a spouse, your successor — someone who sees everything and can run the account. You add them first as a worker or manager, then raise them to owner. A shop can have several owners at once.

The day the shop changes hands

Sold, passed on, or handed to the next generation. The only rule: the new owner first, you second — the app refuses to leave a shop with no owner.

Invite the new person

On the Workers screen, add them with their email. They sign in on their own phone.

Make them the owner

Next to their name, change their role to Owner. The shop now has two owners.

Check their email

Make sure their email is on file — that’s what lets them always get back in.

Step yourself down

New owner in place? Change your own role, or step out completely. The app lets you go the moment there’s someone else.

If the old owner is already gone

Sold, vanished, phone lost with no email on file — sometimes there’s nobody left to press the button. Write bonjour@stockradar.ca with the shop’s name and the new owner’s email, and we restore access. Every restore is recorded, and any existing owners are emailed — an emergency door never opens in silence.

In Quebec, under Law 25, your supplier prices, your margins and your buying habits belong to you. So it is you who decides who has access — not us.
